Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Dear Harvest Church Family,

Merry Christmas to you and your family! We look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with our special presentation, I Remember Christmas on December 18th.  Since Christmas falls on Sunday this year, you are especially invited to a Birthday Party for Jesus on the 25th.

This Year’s Christmas Birthday Gift for Jesus will go to our missionary in Taiwan, Clifton Chen. If you have been following the news, you know that Taiwan is suffering from threats from Red China, plus they are still under lockdown from the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s love gift to Jesus will be a great encouragement to Clifton and the church there in Taiwan.

We are about to finish 2022, A Year of Change and it has been a great year of blessing in the Lord.  We started off the year completely debt free as our mortgage was paid off.  By faith, we increased our missions giving from 20% to 25%.  Because of God’s blessing and your faithfulness, we were able to give over $400,000 to Missions this year.  Hallelujah!  Through the SURGE Project, we were also able to plant 24 churches in 21 nations.  In addition to these wonderful blessings, we also forgave the debt of $291,000 owed by Centro Cristiano Bethel Church on the Slatestone property.  What a joyous time we had as Harvest cheered and Bethel cried but God received all the glory as the Kingdom of God celebrated. Truly, this has been a legacy year in the history of Harvest Church.

On Vision Sunday, January 1, 2023, I will be declaring the word the leadership received at our annual fall retreat.  2023 will be A Year of Transition. This is true for us in the natural realm as I make way for Pastor Brian to become the new lead pastor beginning in 2024.  But we also believe transition is coming in the spiritual realm for the church, both individually and corporately, as we see the time of His appearing approaching and the end of the age unfolding.

The first week of the New Year we are asking our church body to pray with us and to seek God’s face for clarity and direction for Harvest and His Kingdom in 2023.  On Wednesday of that week, the church will come together for a corporate time of prayer, ending with Blessing Sunday, January 8, for communion and prophetic prayer teams praying over every family and individual that desires ministry.

Pastors Brian, Treva and myself, along with the church Staff and Leadership, would like to thank you for your faithfulness, love, support and prayers during this past Year of Change.  We look forward to all that God is going to do, in and through us in 2023 – A Year of Transition.  God has called us to the Kingdom for such a time as this.  We’ve not been this way before, but God is with us all the way and we have great expectations for what will be birthed and brought forth for His Glory in the New Year!

 Love in Christ,

Pastor Tad
